TL;DR
Director, AI and Security Engineering (AWS/GCP, AI security): Directing cross-functional teams that design and deploy enterprise security systems across mobile, API, e-commerce, and cloud-native platforms with an accent on secure SDLC governance, multi-cloud security, and LLM workload protection. Focus on architecting defenses against prompt injection and data poisoning, governing CSPM and IAM, and automating vulnerability identification and mitigation.
Location: United States; telecommuting is available, but travel to offices may be required.
Salary: $260,000–$341,634 per annum.

What you will do
- Direct cross-functional engineering teams through the design, development, and deployment of enterprise security systems.
- Align technical roadmaps with cybersecurity goals and mentor and evaluate senior engineering staff.
- Govern the Secure Software Development Life Cycle across mobile, API, web, and e-commerce platforms.
- Lead AWS and GCP security strategies, including CSPM, container security, data security, and IAM.
- Architect security solutions for LLM and agentic AI workloads, including prompt injection mitigation, data poisoning detection, access controls, and adversarial robustness testing.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Enterprise Technology, and Legal leadership on data protection laws and security standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of progressively responsible experience.
- 6 years of public cloud security experience specializing in AWS and GCP.
- 6 years of product or application security experience and 5 years of CSPM experience.
- Experience with secure SDLC strategy across iOS, Android, web, and e-commerce platforms, plus 4 years of software development experience.
- At least 1 year of AI development or AI security experience.
- At least 5 years of cybersecurity leadership or management experience.
