What you will do
- Perform routine systems engineering tasks supporting Cerner Millennium and other laboratory applications.
- Provide first- and second-level incident support for Cerner Millennium and laboratory system domains.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system incidents.
- Monitor and maintain systems while minimizing service disruptions.
- Support business-specific projects, work plans, cross-functional decisions, and issue escalation.
- Manage conference bridges for high-priority incidents.
Requirements
- 10 years of professional experience.
- BA/BS degree.
- Unix/AIX experience.
- Wintel skills.
- Citrix experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Cerner applications.
- Remedy experience.
- Experience monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems.
