Senior Drafting Technician (Remote)

Location: Norman, Oklahoma, USA, or fully remote within the USA

Salary: $26.88–$35.82 per hour

What you will do

• Draft commercial surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey.
• Prepare staking and stakeout calculations to support field crews and licensed surveyors.
• Produce boundary, topographic, and ALTA survey documentation and legal descriptions.
• Read, organize, and interpret field notes.
• Coordinate with research staff, field personnel, surveyors, and project managers.
• Align daily drafting work with project scope and critical deadlines.

Requirements

• Highly proficient in mathematics and measurements, with strong analytical review skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey and experience with survey drafting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office skills and strong project planning abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in CAD or an engineering program is generally required.
• Preferably four years of related experience; land survey field or office experience is a plus.
