Payer Enrollment Specialist (Healthcare EDI)

Location: Onsite in Vadodara, India, 5 days per week; remote applicants will not be considered. Night/U.S. shift: 6:30pm–3:30am IST.

What you will do

• Prepare, submit, monitor, and maintain EDI enrollment requests for electronic claims, remittance advice, funds transfer, eligibility, and claim-status transactions.
• Complete payer-specific enrollment applications through payer portals, clearinghouses, and paper processes.
• Validate provider demographics, NPI, TIN, billing information, and banking details before submission.
• Follow up with payers and clearinghouses, resolve deficiencies, and escalate aging enrollments or connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready enrollment documentation while protecting sensitive provider and banking information.
• Collaborate with Credentialing, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Payment Posting, Client Success, Implementations, and U.S.-based teams on onboarding and revenue-cycle readiness.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with direct responsibility for EDI enrollment.
• Experience managing EFT, ERA, and electronic claims enrollments for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA electronic transaction standards, including 837, 835, EFT, 270/271, and 276/277 transactions.
• Familiarity with clearinghouse platforms, payer portals, enrollment management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare operations experience preferred.
