Factory Service Engineer (CNC)

Location: Remote, USA; occasional travel to customer sites is required.

Salary: $77,157–$89,413 per year.

What you will do

• Support global customers and distributors with CNC cutting systems, plasma equipment, oxy-fuel systems, and motion control platforms through phone and remote tools.
• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, repair, and optimize automated cutting systems.
• Diagnose issues involving CNC software, HMIs, drives, motors, gantry systems, height control, and gas delivery systems.
• Deliver field training on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing on reliability and performance improvements.
• Mentor service technicians, support continuous improvement, and participate in rotating after-hours support.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Fluent Spanish is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment and on a rotating schedule with extended hours when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial automation, CNC systems, or thermal cutting technologies.
• Familiarity with PLCs, drives, or HMIs.
• Bilingual skills.
