Electroplating Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Attleboro, Massachusetts, United States, Monday–Friday. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Pay: up to $26 per hour, based on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Review work orders, drawings, travelers, and process instructions to confirm plating requirements.
• Verify prior manufacturing operations and inspect parts for surface preparation and cleanliness.
• Set tank controls, including time, temperature, current, and voltage, and execute plating procedures.
• Rack, tool, handle, and visually inspect parts to ensure plating quality and prevent damage.
• Support equipment maintenance by adding chemicals, changing filters, maintaining racks, and keeping the plating area orderly.
• Maintain records, follow safety and environmental procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of electroplating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read work orders, drawings, blueprints, and written process instructions.
• Knowledge of plating processes, tank setup, racking, tooling, part handling, chemical handling, and SDS requirements.
• Ability to work around chemicals, tanks, fumes, and related equipment while wearing required PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, rack, and handle parts as required.
