What you will do

• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment required for surgical procedures.
• Check, clean, and restock anesthesia machines and carts according to established par levels.
• Maintain operating-room cleanliness and support safety, infection-control, and quality standards.
• Assist anesthesia and operating-room personnel with equipment and patient-safety needs.
• Transport specimens, equipment, and supplies between departments and patient-care areas.
• Support efficient surgery turnover and contribute to a professional perioperative environment.

Requirements

• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire is required unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Knowledge of operating-room support practices and techniques.
• One year of hospital operating-room or ambulatory-surgery-center experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
