Bilingual Spanish - BH Counselor - Evernorth - Remote NY State (Behavioral Health)

Location: Remote within New York State; must already hold an unrestricted independent license to practice in New York. Ability to practice in the New York office is required. Remote work requires cable broadband or fiber internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Annual salary: $67,100–$111,800 USD, depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Conduct video and telephone counseling appointments with individuals, groups, and families.
• Screen and assess clients for common mental health and substance use disorders using evidence-based tools.
• Provide patient and family education and implement evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Continuously assess client situations, monitor progress, and adjust ongoing treatment.
• Coordinate referrals with plan, community, provider, and population health resources.
• Coordinate care after emergency department presentations or inpatient admissions and participate in clinical team meetings.

Requirements

• LCSW, LPC, or LMFT qualification.
• Current unrestricted independent license to practice in New York; additional state licenses are a plus.
• At least two years of therapy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency and ability to pass language testing.
• Experience with population management.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and all required professional licenses and insurance.
