Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Business Partnership, Acceptance Solutions (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, San Francisco, United States; at least 3 days per week in the San Francisco office

Salary: $210,900–$369,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead finance support for the Acceptance Solutions business and partner with Product, Technology, Commercial, Operations, and regional leadership teams.
• Provide insights on revenue growth, payment volume, margins, transaction economics, pricing, and operating leverage.
• Evaluate performance drivers, risks, opportunities, investments, growth initiatives, and resource allocation decisions.
• Build scalable data foundations, dashboards, reporting, and analytics connecting operational performance with financial results.
• Drive simplification, automation, AI-enabled finance improvements, operational excellence, and stronger end-to-end business processes.
• Coach and develop future finance leaders while fostering accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or a related background.
• At least 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 10 years with an advanced degree; a minimum of 5 years of work experience is also stated in the basic qualifications.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, business partnership, investment evaluation, and business performance capabilities.
• Experience building data-driven reporting, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
• Ability to solve complex problems, navigate ambiguity, synthesize information, and influence senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills; the role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Nice to have

• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 12 years with an advanced degree; PhD with 9 or more years of experience.
• 10 or more years of experience in finance, FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
