Mechanical Draftsperson (AutoCAD): Preparing mechanical designs, fabrication drawings, layouts, material lists, and technical documentation for gas engine power generation and EPC projects with an accent on industrial drafting, mechanical systems, and construction-ready documentation. Focus on coordinating tender and project delivery designs, supporting procurement and commissioning, and improving design quality and standardisation.
Location: Thebarton, Australia; onsite. Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia and complete a pre-employment medical assessment and national police check.

What you will do
- Prepare mechanical design drawings, layouts, material lists, and project documentation from specifications, concepts, site surveys, and sketches.
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings and documentation for civil, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Coordinate design activities for tenders and project delivery.
- Liaise with consulting engineers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution phases.
- Drive improvements in design quality, standardisation, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical drafting and design within industrial, EPC, or turnkey project environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and engineering documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and project deadlines.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and national police check.
