Global Product Manager RoboMIG & Automated Systems (EWM) (robotic MIG/MAG welding and automation): Defining the global strategy, lifecycle, and performance of EWM’s robotic welding portfolio with an accent on robotics, automation, digital welding, and cross-functional product development. Focus on translating customer and market needs into technical solutions, leading validation and industrialization, and driving global launches, profitability, and portfolio performance.
Location: Hybrid role associated with Karben and Mündersbach, Germany

What you will do
- Define the global product strategy and manage the lifecycle of the RoboMIG, robotic MIG/MAG, and automated welding portfolio.
- Translate market trends and customer needs into product requirements, innovation priorities, and value-engineering initiatives.
- Partner with R&D on welding processes, automation interfaces, technical solutions, validation, prototyping, and industrialization.
- Develop global launch and positioning strategies, sales enablement materials, training, and technical content.
- Work with OEMs, integrators, key customers, and pilot installations to integrate market feedback into product development.
- Own portfolio profitability, margins, cost optimization, business cases, KPIs, forecasts, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Degree in welding, mechanical, electrical, automation engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with MIG/MAG welding and/or robotic welding applications.
- Strong understanding of industrial robotics, including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, or Yaskawa systems.
- Knowledge of automation, welding systems, Industry 4.0, and digital manufacturing trends.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to explain technical complexity clearly.
- Fluent English and German language knowledge are required.
