What you will do

• Coordinate environmental activities, policies, permits, and compliance programs across assigned regions, plants, and projects.
• Provide training and guidance on environmental requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Support regulated substance releases by coordinating notifications, contractors, cleanup efforts, and regulatory follow-up reports.
• Support environmental compliance reviews, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, and remediation projects.
• Respond to public inquiries and communicate environmental compliance issues to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain environmental records and review disposal contractors and related facilities.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in environmental science, another science discipline, or a related field.
• At least eight years of environmental experience with an associate degree, or six years with a bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in environmental programs including storage tanks, hazardous materials transportation, waste management, spill prevention, water monitoring, air emissions, asbestos, PCBs, pollution prevention, environmental assessments, and emergency planning.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong technical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
• Availability by phone after work hours and on weekends when necessary.
