What you will do
- Review customer specifications, application data, and technical requirements to develop engineered supply system solutions.
- Prepare technical quotations and proposal packages for standard and customized supply systems.
- Provide technical clarification and application support across customers, Sales, Engineering, and internal stakeholders.
- Support applications involving API 682 4th Edition, ANSI standards, Quick Ship programs, and Refill Cart offerings.
- Coordinate project scope, costing, delivery expectations, and technical feasibility with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering on 2D drawings, preliminary layouts, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales support, project engineering, supply systems, rotating equipment, or a related industrial environment.
- Experience translating customer requirements and technical specifications into practical engineered solutions.
- Experience interpreting P&IDs, PFDs, GA drawings, instrumentation diagrams, isometrics, and mechanical layout drawings.
- Working knowledge of seal supply systems, auxiliary systems, instrumentation, piping assemblies, and mechanical seal applications.
- Familiarity with API 682, ASME, ANSI, Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
