Production Operator - 2nd Shift - 90 Day Increase Eligible (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on production and facility equipment.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, lubricate, clean, and replace defective mechanical components.
• Install and repair basic electrical wiring, control circuits, motors, relays, switches, sensing devices, and other machine components.
• Diagnose and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pipes, gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
• Complete maintenance requests, preventive-maintenance records, electronic work orders, and shift handoffs.
• Participate in technical training and knowledge sharing across production departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical aptitude and ability to safely use basic hand and power tools; employees must provide their own basic hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, electrical components, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read technical instructions, manuals, schematics, and diagrams, and use computers for electronic work orders and email.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required for the role.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift, lift 40 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work in crouched or overhead positions; overtime and weekend work are required.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or installing manufacturing equipment.
• Trade experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, or welding.
• Relevant licensing or journeyman status.
