Salary: $100,000–$105,000 annual

hirify.global is hiring for a construction and engineering role focused on commercial roofing project estimation.

What you will do

• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Calculate material quantities, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and project timelines.
• Perform takeoffs, analyze cost risks, and identify discrepancies in project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate material and subcontractor pricing and assist with bid negotiations.
• Maintain estimating records, update pricing information, and support project handoff to operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial roofing estimation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing materials, systems, and construction techniques.
• Understanding of commercial construction plans, specifications, and project scopes.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with construction material takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with estimating software and other construction technology.
