What you will do

  • Prepare visit charts and ensure diagnostic results, reports, and summaries are available to providers.
  • Room patients by documenting complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
  • Perform and document measurements, hearing and vision checks, respiratory and ECG testing, and condition-specific screenings.
  • Collect and process specimens, perform point-of-care testing and venipuncture, and administer medications and immunizations.
  • Process prescription refills and prior authorizations while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Manage clinical supplies and medication samples according to storage, labeling, and stock requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • For MA I: graduation from an accredited or externship-based medical assistant program, or relevant healthcare training or experience.
  • For MA II: at least three years of Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
  • Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical experience is preferred.
  • BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
  • On-site work is required in Hooksett, New Hampshire, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
