TL;DR
Director, Global Production Quality (Manufacturing): Leading global production quality teams and standardizing quality practices across manufacturing facilities with an accent on ISO and regulatory compliance, supplier quality, and production risk management. Focus on developing global quality strategies, implementing PPAP and non-conformance processes, improving process controls and yield, and driving operational excellence.
Location: Based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States; works with facilities worldwide
Salary: $159,435–$211,180 annually, plus eligibility for the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program

is a global manufacturer of engineered electrical power grid solutions serving the power industry.
What you will do
- Lead matrixed global production quality teams and execute the roadmap for the company’s global production quality vision.
- Develop quality strategies for New Product Introduction and the transition to full-rate production.
- Drive supplier quality issue resolution, supplier qualification, PPAP implementation, and closed-loop non-conformance management.
- Manage production risk, operational yield, process control tracking, and global production performance reporting.
- Standardize lean and quality tools, share best practices, and benchmark world-class manufacturing organizations.
- Manage capital, point-of-control, and expense budgets while coordinating cross-functional business initiatives and supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
- 15+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of management experience in quality and manufacturing.
- Experience with root cause analysis and documented problem-solving results.
- Strategic leadership accountability and cross-functional collaboration at all organizational levels.
- Experience developing operational yield and process control tracking.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a technical or business field.
- Lean Six Sigma, Red X, or another problem-solving certification.
- Experience developing and executing global quality initiatives.
