TL;DR
Regulatory Intern (Import Compliance): Supporting import permit applications and regulatory submissions in Mexico with an accent on documentation, permit tracking, and compliance administration. Focus on validating submission data, maintaining organized regulatory records, and improving reporting and follow-up processes.
Location: Onsite in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, Mexico; working hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What you will do
- Support the preparation and submission of import permit applications to Mexicoβs Ministry of Energy (SENER).
- Create and update supporting documentation using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized regulatory files, records, and submission documentation.
- Track permit statuses and regulatory processes, and assist with related internal communications.
- Collect and validate information for regulatory submissions and prepare reports and administrative controls.
- Contribute to regulatory compliance and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelorβs degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, or Logistics.
- Active student in the 5th semester or above.
- Availability for a 12-month internship program and onsite work in Tlalnepantla, Mexico.
- Intermediate English proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and filters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with strong attention to detail and organization.
