Cash Accounting Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX; candidates must be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area

What you will do

• Complete daily credit card reconciliations and analyze store over/short amounts, chargebacks, and credit card fees.
• Verify bank deposits and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and meet deadlines for timely financial statements.
• Assist with audits and special projects while coordinating with customers, internal departments, and vendor partners.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information and support filing and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, adapt to changing business needs, and occasionally work additional hours.
• Ability to work safely in an office environment, including sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Retail accounting experience.
• Experience with Multiview or Oracle.
• Experience with Trintech ReconNET.
