Global Product Manager – RoboTIG, Plasma & Automated Welding Systems & Components (EWM)

What you will do

• Define and drive the global strategy for automated TIG and plasma welding systems, components, and automation modules.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, translating market trends and customer requirements into MRD/PRD specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing to develop welding processes, control systems, and automation interfaces.
• Lead prototyping, validation, field trials, industrialization, and value engineering initiatives.
• Develop global launch, positioning, pricing, sales enablement, and technical communication strategies.
• Engage with OEMs, integrators, and key customers on complex automation, pilot installations, and process optimization projects.

Requirements

• Degree in welding, mechanical, electrical, automation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with TIG and/or plasma welding in automated environments.
• Strong understanding of robotics, including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, or Yaskawa systems.
• Knowledge of welding systems, sensors, power sources, and automation integration.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
• Fluent English and German language knowledge are required.

• Experience with high-precision and high-purity welding applications.
• Experience in aerospace, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or high-purity manufacturing industries.
