Sr. Design Engineer – Intake & Exhaust

Location: Wyoming, Minnesota, USA; onsite role with travel as needed up to 10%

Salary: $98,000–$129,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead intake and exhaust system integration for future off-road vehicle platforms.
• Own system development plans from concept through purchasing, manufacturing, validation, and production release.
• Develop component specifications, test procedures, design guidelines, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs.
• Create accurate production drawings using GD&T and align designs with key product characteristics.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and external resources.
• Analyze test and field data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of design and development experience, including intake or exhaust system design.
• Proficiency with Creo as the primary CAD software.
• Experience with GD&T drawings, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, component specifications, and test procedures.
• Ability to operate off-road vehicles, including ATVs and side-by-sides, for development and performance evaluation.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Vehicle mechanical systems or engine product development experience.
• Experience with CAE tools, laboratory testing, and data acquisition.
• Experience riding off-road products, motorcycles, or other recreational vehicles.
