Senior Data Team Lead (Clinical Data Management)

Location: Remote/WFH, based in the United States; Durham, North Carolina

Annual base pay: $86,800–$217,100, with potential performance-based incentives and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Lead data management for complex global clinical trials from study setup through database lock.
• Act as the primary client contact for data management deliverables.
• Oversee SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation, as well as database deployment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Mentor junior data management staff and promote best practices.
• Drive process improvements and ensure regulatory and SOP compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health, clinical, biological, or mathematical fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of direct clinical data management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Lead Clinical Data Management role.
• Experience managing large global studies involving 1,000 or more patients.
• Expertise with Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or similar EDC systems.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, clinical research processes, communication, and leadership.
