Mercury Marine: Mechatronics Intern (Marine): Developing actuator solutions for marine drive applications across hydraulic and electromechanical systems with an accent on control systems, sensors, motors, and data acquisition. Location: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite at Plant 12. Relocation is available. Travel is not required.
Salary: $18.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do
- Develop actuator solutions for marine drive applications, from hydraulic to fully electromechanical components.
- Process engineering data using MATLAB or Python.
- Work with engineers and technicians in a multidisciplinary design and laboratory environment.
- Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for existing and new actuator products.
- Contribute to ’s data-based engineering community.
- Participate in DFMEA activities for product improvements and new actuator development.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, robotics engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum second-semester sophomore standing with at least 48 completed credits.
- Working knowledge of control systems, sensors, power electronics, and brushed and brushless motors.
- Experience with data acquisition, test design, and DFMEA-based design methods.
- Strong technical background and communication skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Exposure to electrohydraulic or electromechanical actuators.
