What you will do
- Manage and independently service an assigned portfolio of SBA loans in accordance with SBA, federal, and bank policies.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and repayment information; prepare recommendations on credit quality and loan grading.
- Resolve delinquent loans through collection letters, mitigation strategies, payment reconciliation, escalation, and documented collection efforts.
- Review loan collateral and recommend actions to secure or dispose of collateral and reduce bank exposure.
- Prepare deferments, monthly status reports, borrowing base certificates, draws, and other customer requests.
- Manage the front end of disbursements for multiple non-construction loans and contribute to process improvement projects.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree.
- At least 3 years of related professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and use office equipment, computers, and job-related software.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
