Philanthropy System Analyst

What you will do

• Create lists, queries, and exports from Ascend CRM using defined criteria.
• Work with IT and philanthropy stakeholders to develop and improve CRM functionality.
• Provide user support, train users, and test new releases and system updates.
• Develop data integrity audits, streamline data entry and extraction, and maintain accurate record coding.
• Document business processes, data dictionaries, code tables, and cross-system data crosswalks.
• Manage data appending procedures and support appeal standards and performance tracking with Alumni and Annual Giving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least four years of related experience, including systems analyst experience.
• Experience working with end users and IT, administering data, and managing CRM databases.
• Knowledge of donor software such as Ascend, Raisers Edge, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Ability to create lists, queries, and exports and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, confidentiality, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related management field.
• Eight years of related experience.
• Experience developing dashboards and working with Ascend, Affinaquest, Salesforce, Raisers Edge, or fundraising CRMs.
