Senior CNC Programmer (Mastercam)

Location: Kulpsville, Pennsylvania, United States. This is an onsite manufacturing role and requires U.S. Person status for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do

• Create and optimize CNC programs for 3–5-axis milling centers and CNC lathes using Mastercam.
• Adjust machine controls and tooling settings to maintain tolerances and maximize production rates.
• Design fixtures and custom cutting tools, order job-specific tooling, and support manufacturing-floor and DFM activities.
• Collaborate with machinists, suppliers, software programmers, and development teams to troubleshoot issues, improve quality, reduce costs, and streamline post-processing.
• Specify and onboard new machining equipment, including tooling, fixtures, auxiliary equipment, and software.
• Lead and mentor programmers while contributing to Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency in Mastercam and G-code for lathe and mill operations; 4- and 5-axis milling experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machining capabilities and machine control systems.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a 2–4-year engineering or technical degree is preferred.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vericut and SolidWorks.
• Experience with automation equipment such as cobots and part pickers.
