Industrial Paint Prepper - 1st Shift

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $20–$24.70 per hour, based on experience

McNeilus, an Oshkosh company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies and related equipment for waste collection fleets.

What you will do

• Wash, clean, wipe down, degrease, sand, and otherwise prepare truck parts and bodies for painting.
• Remove and replace components as needed for painting and sanding.
• Mask, paper, or grease components to protect unpainted surfaces.
• Operate dual-action sanders, electric lifts, hand tools, and small power tools.
• Perform minor bodywork and maintain vehicle or component condition through the paint process.
• Handle, label, store, and dispose of materials safely while following EPA RCRA hazardous-waste procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to follow all safety and compliance regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Regular attendance and ability to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• High school diploma or GED is not required.
• Experience with hand tools and one year of applicable experience are standout qualifications.
