What you will do
- Achieve sales, market share, and growth goals for the immunology product portfolio within the assigned geography.
- Influence physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare decision-makers through targeted clinical and business messaging.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, fellows, residents, attending physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers.
- Drive product access, acceptance, and usage in targeted academic accounts, including IV and subcutaneous product access and fulfillment.
- Develop and evaluate account strategies, academic sales plans, and institution-level business plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, maintain sales and expense reporting, and represent the company at scientific conventions and educational programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least eight years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, including at least five years of specialty sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license issued in one of the 50 United States.
- Ability to support the St. Louis or Kansas City metro areas and travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
- Experience developing strategies for fellows, residents, and key opinion leaders, and creating effective business plans for assigned institutions.
- Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, product knowledge, and strategic sales planning skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations.
- Knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
- Management development training, project-oriented selling experience, and documented strong sales performance.
- Interest in learning emerging technologies such as AI.
