Utility Pole Inspector

Location: Rochester, Minnesota; candidates must be based in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa, or be willing to relocate to support Midwest operations

Salary: $22–$27.50 USD per hour, plus an additional percentage based on revenue generated for each completed pole inspection.

What you will do

• Complete utility pole excavations 18 inches below ground level.
• Perform general and visual utility pole inspections.
• Conduct sound tests and bore tests.
• Apply internal pole treatments.
• Complete an average target of 40 or more pole inspections per day.
• Travel throughout the north central United States, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Pesticide license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles used and an acceptable driving record.
• Working knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must be based in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa, or be willing to relocate for Midwest operations.
