Location: Newark, New Jersey, United States β 3 Brewster Road, Terminal C
Salary: $160,000β$220,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead airport wayfinding projects from planning and design through construction support.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams covering architectural coordination, environmental graphics, signage design, and passenger information systems.
- Integrate wayfinding strategies with terminal architecture, passenger flow, accessibility, security, retail, and operational requirements.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate clients, architects, engineers, planners, consultants, contractors, airlines, security agencies, and airport operations staff.
- Oversee design packages, construction documents, technical specifications, design standards, quality assurance, procurement, and field issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Architecture.
- Registered Architect license preferred; candidates pursuing registration may be considered with significant relevant experience.
- 10β15+ years of professional experience, including required airport project experience.
- Experience delivering complex architectural or wayfinding projects in active airport environments.
- Strong understanding of passenger flow, terminal planning, environmental graphics, signage systems, accessibility requirements, ADA, life safety, and applicable codes.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and managing client relationships, schedules, budgets, quality, and project risk.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and major U.S. hub airport terminal redevelopment programs.
- Familiarity with PANYNJ Design Standards and airport design review processes.
- Experience with digital signage, passenger information systems, and integrated wayfinding technologies.
- PMP certification.
