2027 Early Careers: Summer Intern, Underwriting – Bermuda (Insurance)

Location: Bermuda-Pembroke; in-person, working in the office at least four days per week

What you will do

• Support the evaluation and analysis of risks to help determine coverage, terms, and pricing.
• Review underwriting submissions, financial information, loss history, exposure data, and related materials.
• Assist with quotes, proposals, renewals, and other underwriting documentation.
• Build relationships and communicate with brokers, clients, and internal business partners.
• Apply underwriting guidelines, appetite, and risk-selection strategies while using data and analytical tools.
• Support portfolio management and collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Risk Engineering, and Analytics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
• Availability for the complete nine-week program from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• Analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
