What you will do
- Lead process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma practices.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality and safety, reduce costs, and increase earnings.
- Work with multi-axis CNC machines, assembly equipment, laser marking, and packaging equipment.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and workstations for introducing new products into production cells.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an engineering-focused college degree program, preferably industrial or mechanical engineering.
- Junior-level student who has completed at least two years of study and is in good standing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to identify root causes.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently on selected projects.
- Proactive approach to implementing new technology and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, statistical analysis using Minitab, GD&T, SolidWorks, value stream mapping, DFM, pFMEA, and structured problem solving.
