What you will do
- Manage a team of data scientists focused on marketing, personalization, and recommender systems.
- Deliver AI and machine learning solutions supporting digital transformation and customer engagement.
- Work closely with digital marketing and CRM teams.
- Coach, mentor, and manage highly technical data science employees.
- Manage two direct reports.
- Apply Scrum, Agile, and Kanban team management approaches.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a STEM field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD in a STEM field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing stakeholders, thinking strategically, and managing technical individual contributors.
- Deep working knowledge of relational databases.
- English proficiency required.
- Proficiency in at least three of the following: Spark, Python, R, SQL, Git version control, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
