Senior Engineer - IVR (AI) (AI/IVR): Design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed AI applications and multi-agent systems for customer self-service across voice, IVR, and chat with an accent on scalability, reliability, and performance. Focus on building production LLM solutions, microservice-oriented architectures, REST APIs, and cloud infrastructure with Azure or AWS.
Location: Palo Alto, California, United States
Annual salary: $100,000–$215,000

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed AI applications for customer self-service across voice, IVR, and chat.
- Build and optimize multi-agent systems for intelligent decision-making and improved customer experience.
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI and machine learning solutions with engineering, product, and data science teams.
- Design architectures and ensure reliability, scalability, performance, testing, and monitoring.
- Bring distributed systems and AI research approaches into production environments.
- Use Python, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure tools and services.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and programming in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI or machine learning models, including LLMs, in production.
- Strong software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud platforms, microservices, and extensible REST APIs.
- Experience with architecture and design, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, PowerShell, operational portals, monitoring, and performance assessment.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience, 4 years with open-source frameworks, 3 years with architecture and design, and 3 years with cloud services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent education or work experience. will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization.
