Interior Designer (Residential Design)

Location: 516 Covington, Louisiana, United States; in-home consultations and store-based duties

Training pay: $20 per hour for 2–6 weeks. Post-training compensation includes a $26,000 annual base salary, uncapped commission, bonuses, and average annual earning potential of $60,000–$90,000+.

What you will do

• Promote the in-home design program and develop customized design solutions and portfolio presentations.
• Schedule and conduct in-home consultations to understand clients’ needs, preferences, lifestyles, and budgets.
• Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and decor.
• Partner with store and sales managers to improve design culture, product knowledge, sales techniques, and in-home design performance.
• Support store operations, meetings, promotions, administrative procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
• Achieve individual and store design sales goals through base pay, commission, and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in sales or residential interior design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and computer-aided design programs.
• Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, analytical, financial, customer service, and goal-oriented skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle; ability to pass background and drug screening.
