Executive Chef (Senior Living)

Location: 301 Victoria Gardens Dr, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 yearly

What you will do

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the culinary services department.
• Plan, organize, delegate, and manage culinary services activities.
• Oversee meal production while maintaining quality, presentation, service standards, and resident satisfaction.
• Hire, train, and mentor culinary services associates.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and maintain safe food-handling documentation.
• Manage budgets and provide occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, or business.
• At least two years of culinary services administration experience, preferably in senior living.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
