What you will do
- Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laser trimming equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Perform precision laser trimming to meet dimensional and electrical tolerances.
- Read blueprints, schematics, work orders, specifications, and process documentation.
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Record production data, inspection results, equipment settings, and process information.
- Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three or more years of manufacturing, machine operation, laser equipment, or related production experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, precision measurement skills, basic mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
- ITAR-controlled products and technical data may only be accessed by US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
Nice to have
- Experience in electronics, PCB, semiconductor, medical device, or other precision manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
