Instructional Designer (Learning and Development): Designing and implementing instructor-led, self-paced, mobile, video, and audio-based learning solutions with an accent on instructional design processes, needs analysis, and interactive content development. Focus on analyzing training effectiveness, measuring employee performance and outcomes, and building commercial-quality materials with Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite.
Location: Remote within the USA, California
Salary: $64,300–$85,700 annually

What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement instructor-led, self-paced, mobile, video, and audio-based learning solutions.
- Build commercial-quality learning content using instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, ARCS, and Bloom’s taxonomy.
- Conduct needs and job analyses, gather data, and select effective learning methods for diverse employee groups.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, business sponsors, and learners to align content with learning objectives.
- Present complex information through instructionally effective methods and assess training effectiveness.
- Track employee performance, measure training outcomes, and recommend adjustments or training methods.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience designing training for adult audiences in a professional, commercial, or corporate environment.
- Experience with training project management, including needs analysis, scoping, time estimation, and execution.
- Critical thinking and the ability to review and analyze data.
- Proficiency in graphic, user-interface, and interactive design.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Snagit, Camtasia, Microsoft Office, and online graphic design applications.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emerging problems.
Nice to have
- Information Mapping or DocuTools certification.
- Experience with HTML, ActionScript, or application and game design.
