Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina, United States. This position offers relocation and requires US citizenship; onsite support is provided to commands across multiple locations.

What you will do
- Coordinate, develop, and evaluate community-based resiliency and family-support programs for assigned Special Operations units.
- Establish, train, maintain, and report on peer-support networks for service members and military families.
- Collect primary and secondary data through focus groups, unit meetings, and program evaluation sources.
- Develop needs-based programming for specific demographic groups and geographic locations.
- Coordinate family orientation, outreach, referrals, deployment preparation, reintegration, decompression, and career-transition activities.
- Serve as the commander’s liaison for community and family support, including communication through media and social media.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Secret or Top Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a clearance, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services, or a related field, or four years of relevant social-service education, work/family-life consultation, or coordination experience.
- At least two years of experience coordinating social-service education programs.
- Specialized training in peer-support counseling, community resources and referrals, and suicide prevention, or willingness to receive it.
- Current knowledge of peer-support counseling, suicide prevention, DoD resources, and community resiliency services.
