Engineering Co-op Opportunities (NC) (HVAC)

What you will do

• Build prototypes, conduct tests, and document results in the testing laboratory.
• Support new product development, redesigns, and customer-driven engineering requests.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshoot machines, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Contribute to layout design and process development to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Design, test, and support the production and launch of new and existing HVAC products.
• Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and operations.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
• Expected graduation within the next three semesters or less.
• Interest in hands-on learning and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D modeling software.
