Warranty Specialist (Energy Systems): Administering warranty claims, policies, supplier recovery, and warranty system documentation for engines, generators, power conversion, and other energy-resilience products with an accent on claim adjudication, technical supplier coordination, and process accuracy. Focus on maintaining warranty parameters, managing RMA returns, resolving distributor and customer issues, and improving warranty procedures and processing costs.
Location: Hybrid — 3 days per week onsite in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States
Salary: $63,100–$79,500 per year

What you will do
- Review, adjudicate, process, and return warranty claims that do not meet applicable warranty policies.
- Coordinate supplier authorization requirements, warranty recovery terms, and procedures with Purchasing, Production Quality, Services, and Home Energy component suppliers.
- Generate and review warranty system reports to support technical services administration.
- Administer the RMA program for failed supplier parts, including monitoring returns and supporting part analysis or supplier recovery.
- Support distributors, dealers, OEMs, and customers with claims, registrations, unit startups, extended warranties, and policy questions.
- Maintain warranty system documentation, alerts, users, security, flat rates, policies, global parameters, and processing procedures.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or associate degree is preferred; alternatively, at least two years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Prior warranty or customer service experience in a related technical field is beneficial.
- Exceptional computer and typing skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Business training or experience in customer service, sales, or quality is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
