Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing): Designing and developing mechanical layouts, tooling, fixtures, and specifications for semiconductor manufacturing equipment with an accent on mechanical analysis, manufacturing methods, and product lifecycle engineering. Focus on troubleshooting complex mechanical problems, validating designs through engineering tests, and enabling the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components.
Location: Bangalore, India; onsite role with 10% travel

What you will do
- Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
- Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
- Develop and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform engineering analysis and implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues.
- Technically lead or execute projects, develop suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
- Design and implement custom tooling, fixtures, and processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
- Ability to specify and review engineering documentation and communicate complex or sensitive information clearly.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
