What you will do
- Conduct site visits, collect data, and complete environmental field assignments.
- Prepare reports, tables, maps, drawings, and visual materials for project evaluation, planning, and regulatory approval.
- Direct field staff in sampling, testing, data collection, and documentation of site activities.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting schedules, quality standards, and project goals.
- Build long-term client relationships and oversee proposals and business development activities.
- Lead and mentor junior staff while collaborating on complex environmental projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental-related science, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of professional consulting experience or equivalent relevant environmental experience.
- Must possess or plan to obtain a Professional Geologist (PG) license.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and ability to obtain security clearance at federal installations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork across large project areas, varied terrain, and potentially inclement weather.
- Local travel of up to 30% is required.
