Executive Chef (Senior Living)

What you will do

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the culinary services department.
• Plan, organize, delegate, and coordinate culinary services activities.
• Oversee meal production, ensuring nutritious food, high quality, excellent service, and resident satisfaction.
• Hire, train, and mentor culinary services associates.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and documentation for safe food handling.
• Manage department budgets and provide occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, or business.
• At least two years of culinary services administration experience, preferably in senior living.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapy.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and related physical duties, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
