Salary: $85,600–$141,200 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do
- Maintain accurate books and records for internal and external reporting.
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, payment requests, reconciliations, and daily balancing activities.
- Analyze complex financial data, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
- Review financial statements under GAAP, SEC, and statutory accounting requirements.
- Perform Sarbanes-Oxley controls and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support financial reporting projects and regulatory changes, including reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions, while coaching and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a comparable professional qualification such as CPA or CMA.
- At least three years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or a related field.
- Experience with accounting theory and practice in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong data analysis, communication, consultation, judgment, and project management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and financial reporting software such as PeopleSoft GL, TM1, Essbase, or Hyperion.
- Ability to apply accounting and financial concepts to financial systems and processes.
