What you will do
- Lead safe production of hydrophilic fumed silica products while meeting customer expectations for quality, quantity, reliability, and service.
- Direct cross-functional site activities across Manufacturing, Sales, SH&E, Finance, Quality, HR, and Community Affairs.
- Build continuous improvement capabilities using Lean Management to improve process capability and reliability, reduce variability, and minimize off-quality material.
- Protect facility asset integrity, improve asset utilization, and manage change processes.
- Control capital, departmental budgets, and expenditures to meet financial targets.
- Lead employee development, community outreach, and implementation of the Responsible Care Management System aligned with RC14001 requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous people and budget management experience.
- Deep knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety procedures, continuous improvement methods, and environmental requirements.
- Ability to organize diverse resources and apply analytical judgment to complex operating situations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder representation skills with community partners and government agencies.
