Senior Project Coordinator (Electrical and Instrumentation)

What you will do

• Create and oversee action plans covering project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate multiple capital and expense projects ranging from $20,000 to $5,000,000.
• Participate in design reviews and technical evaluations, documenting scope options for stakeholder decisions.
• Lead field walk-downs, action-item tracking, decision logs, and coordination across engineering and construction resources.
• Develop and control Construction Work Package matrices through project closeout.
• Represent projects in the field, coordinate turnover and functional checkout activities, and ensure safe execution under MPC policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four or more years of industry experience required.
• Project management skills, including scope, schedule, budget, resource, and risk coordination.
• Ability to coordinate construction, operations, maintenance, engineering, vendors, and contractors.
• Technical support focused on electrical and instrumentation activities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or project management certification.
• Project or construction management experience.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with industrial power system design.
