Location: Onsite at the Nevada Support Facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada, with possible work at the Nevada National Security Site in Mercury, Nevada. Two full-time positions work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Telework is not automatic and requires written approval. Active availability is required during 0900–1500 core hours; limited approved CONUS travel may be requested.

What you will do
- Provide daily administrative support to manager and assistant-manager organizations.
- Prepare, format, proofread, route, and maintain technical and nontechnical documents, correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Manage phones, calendars, appointments, meetings, rooms, agendas, minutes, mail, scanning, copying, and data entry.
- Coordinate domestic and foreign travel reservations, authorizations, vouchers, and timekeeping reviews.
- Operate correspondence, action and issue, FOIA, and other administrative databases; maintain FOIA logs and request records within government deadlines.
- Cross-train, provide absence backfill, rotate coverage, and support authorized events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience targeted.
- Demonstrated document production, office coordination, customer service, deadline management, records handling, database accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat; proficiency with standard office equipment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments independently, adapt to changing workloads, communicate clearly, and collaborate with federal and contractor organizations.
- DOE L security clearance required; DOE Q clearance may be required where needed.
- Onsite availability in North Las Vegas, Nevada, with possible work in Mercury, Nevada, is required.
Nice to have
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, office management, communications, or a related field.
- Federal or Department of Energy experience, FOIA or records exposure, and experience in a regulated or nuclear-security setting.
- Advanced Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills; familiarity with data analytics tools and Visio.
