HCC EMEA Regional Lead (Healthcare Compliance): Leading and executing the Healthcare Compliance strategy and programs across EMEA for an orthopedic MedTech business with an accent on regional risk management, regulatory alignment, and senior stakeholder advisory. Focus on overseeing commercial and medical compliance activities, leading regional compliance professionals, and driving monitoring, auditing, remediation, and transformation initiatives across multiple countries.
Location: Hybrid role based in Zuchwil or Zug, Switzerland; Leeds, UK; Cork, Ireland; or Vienna, Austria. Requires up to 25–30% international travel within EMEA.

What you will do
- Lead and execute the EMEA Healthcare Compliance strategy in line with global compliance objectives.
- Advise senior regional leaders on compliance risks, mitigation strategies, and business decisions.
- Oversee compliance programs for commercial, medical, and customer engagement activities across EMEA markets.
- Partner with Legal, Medical Affairs, Quality, Finance, and other functions to assess and manage regional risks.
- Lead issue management, remediation, monitoring, auditing, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Healthcare Compliance professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, regulatory, or risk management within life sciences or MedTech.
- Experience leading healthcare compliance programs across multiple countries or regions.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes, including EFPIA and MedTech Europe.
- Experience influencing senior leaders, managing complex matrixed organizations, and developing regional teams.
- Fluent English is required; a valid driver’s license is required where applicable.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, Master’s degree, or Juris Doctor.
- Orthopedics or MedTech commercial experience.
- Regional or global compliance leadership experience.
- Experience in Switzerland, Germany, or broader EMEA markets.
- German or additional European languages, and compliance or legal certification such as CHC.
