TL;DR
Electrical Design/Firmware Engineer II (Aerospace & Defense): Designing, developing, and testing embedded hardware and firmware components for aerospace and defense mission systems with an accent on FPGA logic, bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware, and avionics interfaces. Focus on implementing VHDL/Verilog signal-processing logic, developing peripheral drivers, applying DO-254/DO-178C standards, and supporting hardware bring-up and field integration.

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States. The role is onsite and requires a background that would permit issuance of a U.S. Department of Defense Secret clearance when necessary. ITAR-controlled products and technical data are restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.

Salary: $99,092–$165,154 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.
